Log on to My Bay State Payment Plan to fill out the agreement form in order to use the payment plan. Your Student ID will be your Bay State student number and the Pin Number is the first 5 digits of your Bay State student number. You will be asked to create your own Access Code during the sign-up process. Do not forget this Access Code because you will need this when contacting Nelnet with any questions.

Once the agreement form has been filled out and submitted you will receive a second confirmation email which will be sent to the email of the Responsible Party provided when filling out the agreement.

Once you have received the second confirmation email, you can now log in to create your installment plan account to review your payment schedule and contact information. Your first time in, click on the New Account Setup button.You will be able to create your own user ID and password at this point and will need the Agreement Number, Access Code, and Institution ID from your confirmation email. Any subsequent logons use the Returning Student section to log in using the new User ID and Password you created.

Please be mindful that any email Nelnet sends will be sent to the email address of the Responsible Party provided when filling out the agreement.

Bay State College’s primary means of communicating with you will be through your Bay State College email account.

To log into your student email account you can do so by going to http://mail.baystate.edu.

 If it is your first time logging in to your Bay State College email, your username is your first name, period, last name and your password is your initials and your date of birth (mmddyyyy). So for example, if your name was John Doe and your birthday was January 1, 1973, the username would be john.doe and the password would be jd01011973.

Once you log in you can change your Bay State College email password by clicking on the Preferences link on the left. If you have already logged into your Bay State College email account and changed your password, use the password you have set up.
